ServIS
ServIS is a web application for managing service interventions, maintenance tasks, users, assets, reports, maps, and notifications in one centralized system.
Project overview
The project was developed to support the complete lifecycle of service interventions, from registering maintenance assets and assigning users to tracking interventions, generating reports, and sending notifications. The system is intended for service technicians, supervisors, and administrators, with role-based access and a clear division of responsibilities.
Challenge
Service teams often deal with scattered information, manual reporting, unclear task status, and limited visibility over field activities. This makes it harder to organize interventions, monitor progress, and keep accurate records.
Result
ServIS brings all key service operations into one web platform. It allows users to manage interventions, assets, sectors, projects, documentation, maps, reports, and notifications from a single place. The system improves organization, speeds up daily work, and gives supervisors better insight into service activities
System architecture
The system architecture connects the key project components into a unified data flow.
- User InterfaceVue.js displays pages and forms to users.
- REST CommunicationFrontend and backend exchange data through an API.
- Business LogicSpring Boot processes the system’s business rules.
- SecurityJWT and Spring Security control system access.
- DatabaseMariaDB stores users, assets, and interventions.
